I’ve been looking forward to capturing Joe and Jocelyn’s wedding day since their engagement session last September.  Not only are they a beautiful couple and very natural in front of the camera, but they are also incredibly genuine and kind. And I was thrilled their wedding would be a the River Club in Scituate, Massachusetts.

Jocelyn told me they wanted to do their first look at Scituate Lighthouse and their day was the perfect spring day in early June so the lighthouse was the perfect backdrop.  Their wedding ceremony and reception followed at the River Club in Scituate.  This venue couldn’t have been more ideal for these two who share a love river adventures and music festivals, and met while on a camping trip!

Everything about their day was amazing!  Their first look was a dream.  The details were on point and Jocelyn’s dress was absolutely one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.  (Check out that train!).

I loved the energy of this wedding. One of my favorite moments of the day was during the toast of Joe’s two brothers.  They had everyone laughing and clapping and maybe even sparked a few looks of shock here and there!  It definitely goes down as one of the most entertaining speeches at a wedding!!  All around, there was so much love and support in the entire family and this day was such a special celebration for all those involved!!

Joe and Jocelyn, Alex and I had the best time capturing your day and spending time with you all!  I wish you a lifetime of river adventures and music festivals!  Congratulations on this special new time of life!
