I believe in real moments and creating memories. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in photos that are destined to be printed in an heirloom album so your story can be relived over and over for years to come.
I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was a teenager, starting with a job at a one-hour photo lab and then in later years as a photojournalist at the local newspaper. Like many photographers who started with a hobby that turned into a passion, I immersed myself in as many workshops and classes as possible to learn more about the craft I love. I’ve been so fortunate to work with some very talented mentors and I still deep dive into education as I am continually wanting to learn, grow and evolve.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell your story and showcase the beauty of the moment and the world around you. Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, is meant to be celebrated with pure, simple, joy!
I love dogs and hope I will never not have one (or two, or three, you can never have enough) in my life.
I love supporting local, sustainable living, eating al fresco, outdoor concerts and spending time with good art and good friends.
I love the romance of the ocean...the smell, the brush of a breeze and the sound of waves crashing. Having grown up near the beach and spending my childhood on the water, the ocean is part of my soul.
I am a New Englander through and through. I love going on spontaneous road trips exploring all over this little area of the world, dining and shopping local and looking for farmer's markets with my husband and dogs along for the ride.
On an extraordinary day for two people in love, I have the honor of being their family historian. On this day, their loved ones get to watch them take vows, witnessing the beginning of their lives together, and I get to capture that love story with my camera. How lucky am I?!
The clients that hire me want a photographer who not only captures great moments and makes great portraits; they want someone who truly cares that their wedding photos will be part of their history someday. I’m interested in every part of your day; from the creative and thoughtful details that you chose to the people who traveled long distances to be at your wedding. Every single bit of it matters to you, and it matters to me that you have amazing photos for future generations.
Let's meet up or chat on the phone about your wedding day. I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and find out how you got engaged.

I'm here as a resource beyond photography, whether you're looking for recommendations, timeline advice, or vendor referrals. I'm happy to share what what I've learned from my experience photographing weddings.
02
I'm a big fan of engagement sessions. Not only because photographing couples is one of my favorite things, but because it's another opportunity for us to get to know and work together before you're big day. It's a chance for you to celebrate your engagement and have beautiful photographs of you during this time of your life together.

I'll check-in here and there before the wedding to see how it's all coming together and provide tips along the way. I like to touch base to make sure we are on the same page so that I have everything I need to capture your big day from the details and traditions to working out timelines.

The big day is here! That went by quickly, didn't it? Just know I'm PUMPED to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.
