In August I had the chance to photograph the wedding of Chloe and Luis. They did a super simple DIY backyard wedding and it was so much fun!
Chloe is from Bridgewater and Luis is from Lima Peru. They met while Chloe was working with an organization that helped build houses (What a cool way to meet, right?!). The said their vows and celebrated their day at Chloe’s home where she grew up. Some of Luis’ family was there, but they streamed in the rest of his family (Again, how cool?!).
Chloe did the flowers herself and they even used vintage plates to serve food prepared by Tova’s Catering http://www.tovascatering.com/index.php . Chloe’s family and friends helped with her with hair and makeup (she looked simply gorgeous!) and they even made the cake! The wedding dress was a repurposed design made by Chloe’s aunt. Vintage vases and recycled glass filled with delicate wildflowers that were gathered by Chloe and her family served as the centerpieces. Their wedding was simple, intimate and sustainable.
To say this was a gorgeous, backyard wedding would be an understatement. Chloe and Luis, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your photographer and capture your amazing day!
